after installing vista inspirat i reboot my computer
however when the log on screen was supposed to appear, instead it's all pitch black with a mouse cursor
then it would restart itself and the process goes on forever and ever until i press the power off button

i went in to safemode and uninstalled vista inspirat but when i reboot,
the same thing happens!

the only way i can log on now is through safe mode! can someone pleaseee help?

oh and on safe mode, i noticed that even after i uninstalled vista inspirat, the cursor still has that vista look when a program is running (it has that blue circle thing spinning)

And the PC boot opnly into safemode, not normal ?
By the way, did you install the VI in safemode too ?

Do a repair-install (this will only overwrite all systemfiles from your XP-CD) and do a windows-update !
