[Edit: I have read throught the posts and decided that 2 should go elsewhere and also, I think a System file swap over can be done too.

Is there a .exe pack that I can double click or a .dll that I can use that swapper cmd on that makes all the Vista icons on XP?

I made this post, otherwise it wouldn't bother me, because I have nearly completed the XPista transformation, I'm about to do the sound pack.

[Edit: I'm aware XPista sounds like a naughty word]

Oh, and I am aware that TrueTransparency does allow you to do that when maximised, but it looks ugly.

WTF is a XPista Transformation?

I think you mean Vista Transformation Pack? Well, CrystalXP.net has her own packs, called Bricopacks. I think you should look for support on their website..

Otherwise: I can't help you.. sorry

Icon .exe pack:
You could try this (I don't know if it works) or this (should work).

Those are cool, but I meant one that installed all the icons in the windows folder so that they appeared where the normal icons are, as though I had vista.
I tried the icon-switching thing but no icon appeared at all so I'm not trying that again.

2) TrueTransparency is great, but I don't use it anymore because the fact that I cant just roll my mouse to the very corner of the screen and click to close the active window makes me paranoid. So I was wondering if there was a skin that supports the corner-click.

you go to the theme request bit to find skins/themes for stuff.

You can always install the Vista Inspirat (Bricopack) to get the Vista icons and more  (And they will appear normally, like you want!;)

Sorry for the bump but I would really like a DLL file to stick in System32.
Or wherever it goes, please specify.

Hi JohnnyCashSupporter !

Sounds like you`re not very familiar with systemfile-customizing, one single error can crash your XP  :beurk:

If you want to change your icons, try this

But I got desporate, I stay away from System32.
