I've had these too on IE. I suggest you try Firefox. It's better, faster, and more secure..

Are you use IE 7 ?

 

I had this kind of problem too, long time ago, I`m not sure how to fix it.

use FF, faster and one of a hell better than IE. Also, IE 8 Public BETA is out, maybe they have fixed it in this version? u may want t try it, i always use the latest, even if unstable...

How often does this error occur?

I remember a problem like this with IE5 or 6, "script debugging" was the problem, you can turn it off:

 

Tools-> Internet Options -> Advanced-> Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)
