Hi.
Unfortunatly, i get an error wnen trying to run Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5. I need this program to work, so maybe somone know the solution.

The erros says:
WSESMgr.exe Incorrect relocation of system DLL

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. This aplication will not work correctly. Reason of relocation was, that the library DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll was engage range of adresess reserved for system library DLL

Any help? Without AC this wonderful application is usless for me.. :frown:

Sounds like a misplacement of files.  Have you tried a Disk Defragment?  It may help you.

So is your problem installing it, or just getting it to run.

Try a defragment before you install, and if you've already installed it but it won't run, try a defragmentation now.

Hi Klabton,

please read this

It`s an  microsoft-update-error (that blocks all kind of EXE) ...

Quote :

Broadband Reports is running a story regarding the latest MS update.

"Users in our Security forum note that the latest critical Microsoft Windows update (KB925902) is causing all kinds of problems. Most notably, it prevents some users from loading anti-virus software, but others say the update prevented them from booting entirely. "So far, we have errors with AVG, Realtec, F-Secure, a false positive of a Trojan, a messed up Vaio, USB problems and Accessories and Utilities all vanishing into thin air," says one security forum regular."

Really, well done BFC!  I would never have thought that update would have interfered.

Hi Buddy !

Lots of windows-forums are full with annoyed windows-user. Microsofts
last update seems to be blocked lots of exe-files (files from windows
too). I had serious problems here too

Anyway, it`s good that we can help each other  :he:

Hi bubbah!

Did you get this error?

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. This aplication will not work correctly. Reason of relocation was, that the library DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll was engage range of adresess reserved for system library DLL

Or only an ActiveSync-Error, without install a bricopack?

Try to uninstall ActiveSync and install it again?

Hey!..People!...i got good news for you!...
i have managed to work with active sync 4.5 (provided to me on cd with my htc p3400pi)
my pc has win xp service pack 3
and tune up utility 2009 (just so you know..)

now i had installed crystal xp . im a fan of ur blue theme...
when i installed active sync over it..active sync wouldn't connect. there was this msg about relocation of some dll....bla...blah..blah..

so i turned to google...and got to this forum...and sorry...the update here didn't work for me...
to install active sync i reversed back to windows xp theme without uninstalling crystal xp..again installed the active sync.....and it worked fine..

So one mornign i went to one of my gf's place..and liked the new icon package provided with the tune-up utilty. So i thought to try changing the icons using my tune-up too..
i was surfing the net through htc p3400i using ative sync on my windows xp theme.....then i opened up tune-up utility.
now on the tune up utilities 2009 interface..there's
Customize windows>>tune up styler >>select tune up visual style for windows xp.
in the visual style pane , the cystal xp theme would alos b listed. just select it and apply.
when i did so..my net was not disconnect on doin so..and also after rebooting and hooking up my htcp3400i , active sync was able to detct it..
so now i haev the freedom on usign active synce along with Crystal xp.
in case u have any problem just email me at sujit.sudhan@yamail.com
