yes Legace - i mean't. the bootscreen and welcomescreen....ill check your link, thanks mate!
quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | Legace - i viewed your link. is that really the bootscreen for vista-inspirat 2? it doesn't have any vista logo and i guess, id expect it to be black screen along with microsoft tm, etc. and if so, what's the story with the welcome screen. currently, im using vista-aero bootscreen/welcomescreen. pls clarify for me...thanks mate!
in your link, is that a bootscreen that you made cuz, it doesn't seem like an authentic microsoft product?
ps: i have use tuneupstyle, windowblinds, and didn't have any luck with bootskin prog. i think, someone mentioned it had a virus. it corrupted my boot.ini but, my mates at microsoft fixed my boot.ini for me

If you tried to change the bootscreen before, and if you faced a problem while or after doing so, then don't try again You're just stupid if you fall into the same hole twice..

No VI-2 not included any bootscreen, some other bricopacks change the bootscreen, VI-2 not. Your PC is ok.
Right now I use "Leopard XP": http://www.crystalxp.net/forum/en/ [...] 8147_1.htm

Nope, none of the Bricopacks available here at CrXP don't change the boot screen.

legace - if you follow the thread, it's a reply to breakfastclub. i'm not an artist or creator of backrounds, wallpaper, bootscreens, logonscreens, etc. these are just some of items in my gallery of different art i have and use for different purposes. but, thanks for your interest.
ps: if you are in need, there are many sites that have these provisions. i don't why u'd say these aren't my screenshots = fn+printscreen+paint+file+paste+saveas. i may be new to customization however, im not new to computing. im here to learn more about customization, as education. for the record, im a retired execute, married with son34, dau32 and not here to be ridiculed. those are not positive or constructive human behaviors. it's better to be mindful so, that comments don't appear to be of a critical/negative nature. i appreciate anyones positive input and if i can help someone in turn, id like to assist if and when possible. i hope this information is helpfull to you. thank you.

poiru Profil: Moderator | I wasn't being rude, but how do you pull of screenshots with different resolutions? You can resize, of course, but you don't seem like a person who is capable of that (no offense). And how can the Vista Inspirat 2 preview be your screenshot? And why would you take a screenshot of a blank desktop?n You are just getting random images from all over and putting them here.
If you were just posting random images, then, sure, they are cool. But if you are posting images and saying that they are screenshots, then, no, that isn't cool.
Again, I'm not trying to be rude.

quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | Legace - i appreciate your apology and really don't understand the nature or logic of your questions. this discussion about my screenshots doesn't make sense. i'm open to positive questions and comments pertaining to aspects of customizations here. learning should be a positive and pleasurable experience. i've been retired as a professor for some years now. hopefully, this type of discussion isn't the usual. And as per your second paragraph, you're correct. my screenshots are just a sample of my many from my personal gallery. windows xp visuals or gui's are somewhat boring. i research websites for hd or highly developed photo's that i can use as backrounds or wallpaper. researching can require much time but, it can be exciting too when you come accross a great photo that has been taken by a photographer that has a exceptional eye for the art. anytime, you may have good suggestions for me pertaining to customization, i'd be most appreciative. i'm not seeking to be an IT professional, but, i still have some braincells left to learn alittle bit at a time. so, i guess, i have much reading ahead of me here. microsoft has been working on windows7, i.e.8, scheduled to be released in jan2009 according to my microsoft contacts.
by the way - i had a few vista inspirat wallpapers that i could use and converted them as a boot/logon screens. but, the pixels weren't too large and therefore, they look homemade verses authentic quality as per microsoft. so, i think, i'll keep searching for an appropriate vista-inspirat2 bootscreen and in the meantime, i have many other bootscreens that i've created with the use of tuneup2008styler. here's some more examples from my vast collection.

BreakfastClub - thanks...i uninstalled brico and b4 reinstalling, making sure that winxp was in it's original style. then, reinstalled. this time, after the reinstall i did have an appropriate logon/signon screen. here are some examples...

quaz1957 I think according to what I've highlighted in your post It seems like that you've got your logon screen after your re-installation and you're posting some of the screen shots of it You may have wrote it another meaning but It had made us to think that you're uploading the screenshots of Bricopack Vista Inspirat 2 in your PC/Laptop which in case are not They are some pictures that you've came across while you're surfing the internet or what you've created. That's why Legace has said that Quote :

They maybe the screenshots that you've got using the 'Print Screen' Key in your Key board but what Legace said was what they originally are Quote :

Yes and I thank you for sharing what you've explored with us But you should have opened a new thread to post/share your findings with our Crystalizing community because this thread is about some General Questions about Bricopacks You can always share your explorations and get our admiring on them any time during your stay as a member in CrXP Your age or Profession has nothing to do with you learnng win customization That's the general principal what we had when we were members in this community in the past which means we help anyone who wish to give their OSs a new look without meshing with their PC performences as much as possible It's same for you also, (which means we'll share what we know with you in case that you need it ) Quote :

For the record, you cannot expect apperciations from everyone There may be blames, critizisms which is not actually a rude thing but has something you've to understand It can be because of some mistakes by you or some misunderstandings which is acceptable People may do fault things, we cannot change them from doing that but we can stop them from doing it again Hope you'll understand Legace I've used some posts by you and explained their meanings as I understand, but you're the person who know it best so feel free to correct them I'll also edit them in this post Message edited by Neil on 11-15-2008 at 11:56:24 AM
