Hello I'm snorzsnorz
I've just registered and downloaded StylerToolbar from your web-site...I think its a great tool
Unfortunately at the end of download by checking in the program properties no digital signature tab on or nothing about hashes code (MD5 SHA1 or CRC32) for STB
I try to download the file two times but i have received always the same result. So i try it only on my virtual machine for security reason.
I always choose to download and use on my PCs program with hash codes to verify that your original program has not been corrupted or tampered during the download
I seacrh about STB's hashes on web-site and also on this forum but nothing...so this is the reason why I'm asking your support: can you public or give me hash codes for your original STB Setup.exe or of couse the containg zip folder?
I hope you answer me as soon as possible
Thanks in advance....snorzsnorz

Hello Breakfastclub
about: "I`m not sure what you mean  - stupid me" ....well, probably is my bad-english...sorry!
In any case, yes the download link is right and I looking about the hash codes of StylerToolbar and also please Visual Tooltip Setup.exe (Installer). Hash codes like MD5, SHA1, CRC32 etc are on file proprerties  of all files from web (also DOC files).  Hashes used for security reason, usually when a tool doesn't have a digitally sign sometime the developer use hash codes for users to verify that the program/tool has not been corrupted or tampered during the download. example: a microsoft exe or the GIMP Installer for windows are digitally signed software and also have hash code (MD5). About VLC palyer doen't have a digital sign but the developers public hash codes. Also, ISO Images usually have hash codes (e.g. Windows AIK and OpenSuse/Linux). So I want to know hash codes of SToolbar and VTooltip just for security reason. If the MD5 of the original Visual Tooltip Installer from crystalxp.net is (example) 1234567890 and the MD5 of Visual Tooltip that I downloaded yeasterday is 0987654321 well the file that I downloaded is fake or corrupted.
Well...I hope you answer me as soon as possible
and thanks a lot in advance and sorry for the length of the topic

Don't be sorry for the length of the topic Snorzsnorz ;) The thread can be lengthened as long as it should be in order to resolve a problem
And regarding your problem, I'm not familiar with such for a greater extent I think you'll get a satisfactioy answer from the respective owners or uploaders of the Setup.exes or the Gallery Admins or Validators

 There are Thousands of CrXP members and among them are the people that have developed those applications
What I meant was you should ask the Program Developers (Authors) about the hash cords

:ar: The Styler Toolbar is uploaded by ta2027

:ar: Visual Tooltip is by chsalmon

In each of these pages, you'll fing a Contact the Author link below the software download ;) You can contact the author and ask for the hash codes there

And Regarding the Gallery Validators and Admins, you can wait a while where they can visit this thread & let you know anything

Unfortunately for Styler TB no match found because on this link (http://www.crystalxp.net/galerie/en.id.551-styler-1-401.html) there's the Developer's page link (http://ta2027.plala.jp/Styler) but it doens't work. I try on Google now
Well, thanks for your quick replies!
