| Grendor Profil: New Penguin | Hello,
I am in need of some help for Photoshop CS3 animation I have only had Photoshop a few months so im not that good. And this is my first time on this forum.
What I have done is made an animation with 72 layers and 73 animation frames. I have used black text and on a transparent background. While in Photoshop it plays fine but no matter if i export as movie or save as gif all i ever get is a pure black view. The only exception is when i export using Render Video is i choose render option "premultiplied with white" then when i play the exported .mov i still get a black screen but i can finally see the animation drawn in black with white just behind it.
How do I make the animation or any animation so i can use it as an overlay in a video. I just want the text to show up no background or sometimes would like to add a picture as a background with colored text.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running Photoshop CS3 not full suite. I also have Photoshop Elements 7 as well as Premiere Elements 7 and multiple video editing programs. I am also running the cursed Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit.
I have photoshop set to rgb and I choose a transparant background I have tried export and I even loaded the file in Adobe Premiere Elements 7 and still I get only a black background.
Please Advise
Thanks in Advance

Grendor Profil: New Penguin | Hello Legace,
Well I still dont have it working and I am about to give up on it. I tried as you suggested and if i open the .gif in quicktime it look like it is working. But the second i bring it into a video editing program to act as an overlay I now only get a white screen with only the first frame of the animation. I guess I should have started to learn more before i tried this current task.
Thanks for the Help.

Grendor Profil: New Penguin | Hello Ghost,
Thanks for the information I am getting so confused with trying to do what i thought was a simple task.
Im just trying to make my own write-on text in an overlay for some home movies. And I am loosing my hair over it. I wish I had an apple as it has a great program to do it. Any ways thanks for the information again, and I guess I will keep googleing till i find out how to do it.
Thanks

ghostnatyphon Who Dares Wins Profil: Penguin Pro | What program are you using? Most should allow you to add text as an overlay on the movie. ---------------

Grendor Profil: New Penguin | I have Corel Video X2, Adobe Premier Elements 7, Magix video 14 & 15, also have Pinnacle Studio 12 ultimate and Nero 9. I can do text in them but i am trying to do write-on style just like hand writing.
Thanks
Grendor
Edit: I forgot I also have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9
These are all paid and Registered versions (not cracks or copies) Message edited by Grendor on 04-05-2009 at 09:47:03 PM

ghostnatyphon Who Dares Wins Profil: Penguin Pro | Ah, I see... in that case I guess you need to find a way of converting an animated gif into mpeg or a similar video format. I shouldn't think that would be too difficult to do... well except for the transparency issue... ---------------

Grendor Profil: New Penguin | Hello,
Yes it has been fun trying to find how to do it. I have made animation in Photoshop CS3 as a test and it looks good. But the second I try to export or save as I get an all black screen. I thought youtube would show how but have not yet come across any yet.
Thanks again.
