Hey all
Once upon a time there was a guy named me, who messed around with WindowsBlinds and various Stardock software. Me soon realised that first of all most of the software where shareware which meant he could only use limited versions, or even only for limited time, and second of all me regretfully experienced that his computer did not respond well to the installing and running of numerous applications and processes for each single tiny Windows XP customization.
I'm sorry if that annoying story-telling thing made you lose interest in my thread, but durn it I never know how to start these 
So. My computer is well over due for an update, but since that is not happening anytime soon and I am a slut for shiny an dpurdy objects I was wondering if some of you guys could help me with some recommendations? I'm a rookie in the area so I have absolutely no idea on what to get. I'm looking for neat stuff like gadgets, object bars/docks, customizations of media player and things of the like. However as I mentioned my computer is old and, much unlike old yeller, very unreliable. Thus I am looking for customization that is not too process-heavy and doesn't cause to many bugs.
I hope I didn't lose you. I have problems being brief... How active are these forums actually? Oh anyway.
If you know of some customizations that would fit my requests and are fond of yourself, I would love to try them for myself.
