Hi legace and thanks very much for you prompt reply.
 
I tried copying the file to the My documents/Rainmeter/skins folder but still nothing... tried closing rainbar and starting again but still nothing.
 
this is the weather gadget im trying to put in...it may help

1) Extract bHitman_Weather_2_01_Glas_by_BHitman.zip
2) Extract bHitman_Weather_2_01_Glas_by_BHitman\Wetter.zip and/or bHitman_Weather_2_01_Glas_by_BHitman\MoonPhase.zip
3) Copy Wetter\Wetter (the Wetter folder inside the Wetter folder) into My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins
4) If you have Vista Rainbar running, close it, and open it again. If not, open Vista Rainbar
5) Right-click on the Vista Rainbar tray icon, select Configs -> Wetter -> WetterRunkel.ini
6) The skin should appear

Thank you legace... it was the last config part I was not doing so after that it worked
 
Thanks very much for your help and for being so prompt... Im really enjoying your sidebar and after trying about 5 different ones yours comes out on top by miles... its easy to use, it looks great and runs so smooth with little resources used... all in all its A1 so thanks.
