I've started to work on the Rainbar project again. Alone, this time.
The new version of Rainbar will be called Rainbar SE.
Itwill have nothing new, for now, but I hope to get new gadgets added inthe future. As for now, I will only fix the bugs and problems withRainbar 4.4.

Can you change the letter to your own Harddrive, Mine is set to the letter I, I dont think I could change it in the 4.3 ver.

Does anyone know if you have the option on chosin the letter of your HardDrive on the HardDrive Icon on the Vista Rainbar, and if you have the option to addin' more Gadgets....Thanxs

 
I think you should be able to choose the letter, at least in 4.4..
And yes, you can add more gadgets Just search for Rainmeter or Rainbar gadgets and add them to the Gadgets folder (which is usually C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets)

Legace, I read that the new Vista Transformation Pack 9 has The Vista Rainbar in it, Not sure if you knew bout that....was'nt that a no no for them to do.... Just FYI

 
They have 4.3, and not 4.4

Legace, Im havin a problem with the weather gadget, Its not lettin' me put in my local info when I click on the tool icon as it says to do in the help file....Not sure if this is a glitch....please help.....Thanxs

 
Why can't you put your info in it? Do you get an error? Or can't you type anything?

When I click to tool icon where you are to open it to be able to fill in your info it does'nt open for me at all, it just stays on the settin's it came with....

and I can only choose a harddrive that goes up to the letter H, anf my drive is I

Just go to /Program Files/Vista Rainbar and click on Weather1.exe - there you can fill and the info you need. Refer to the help file how to get the ZIP/postal code if you don't know it.

I have a question for you Legace - I'm trying to get a feed with different encoding (Bulgarian) but it shows me some random letters and signs instead. Is there a way to change the encoding of the RSS feeds?

Hey Legace, Any answers to the hard drive letter changin' and why we cant put in our info for the weather???? or should we stick to 4.3 till maybe 4.5 comes out.... 4.4 seems to have some bugs in the programs....

To fix the weather problem just go to the installation folder of the weather gadged, usually C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar and doubleclick the exe file called Weather1.exe. There you can put the info you want and it will work. There is a help file in the same directory called Vista Rainbar.chm and in the file there are all the instructions you need of how to fill the correct info, including your postal/zip code.
