Hello!
 
I use "Vista Inspirat 2" on Windows XP SP3 to imitate the look of Vista.
I will see "Details" on the left side in the explorer, i.e. a thumbnail of a picture, but this is only functionable
in "classic xp".

 
Settings -> Aero black will show me a bar in the top range of the window, but no details!
Windows Vista show the details per default on the bottom and XP on the left side.

 
How can I make the details of a file visible when I choose "aero black" (or aero green and aero blue)?

I have tried the styler toolbar (from crystalxp.net), but there will be only the icons changed.
Not the position of details, no chance to place it on the bottom of the explorerwindow...

i just searched for this and have the same issue...like to use the aero themes, but with the details on the left side. How do i exactly activate this?
 

Right-click on desktop -> Properties -> select the Appearance tab:
