| sark19 Profil: New Penguin | Hi all,
Thanks to legace, i have removed Vista Inspirat, and the original Windows XP theme is back. However, one or two folder icons are still that of Vista Inspirat, the following files are still present
- BricoPackFolderDelete.cmd
- BricoPackLock.lock
- BricopackUninst.cmd
- BricoPackUninst.txt Should I use the Remove.exe file in Safe Mode, and then delete the files above?
I still have the Bricopacks Directory in my D:\Program Files where i initially installed it a year ago. I cannot remove the folder - D:\Program Files\BricoPacks\Vista Inspirat 2\iColorFolder - due to the CMExt.dll file being in use.
Really appreciate your help, thanks for your time.
Norad678 Profil: New Penguin | I'm haveing the same problem. I've been trying to unistall the vista theme. But it's not in add/remove programs. I've tried everything. I went in safe mode and deleted the bricopack folder But All there is left is the vista temp file. And it says i cannot delete it because "Folder Is Not Empty" Any answers? Please..i don't know what else to do.

What stuff from the Vista theme do you have? Icons? Startmenu/taskbar/window borders? ---------------

Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | Hm, that not right,
Try this

PROBLEM: A "Another Shell Pack is already installed on your computer" dialog pops up when you try to install a Bricopack

SOLUTION
Make sure you've uninstalled all Bricopacks. If you are sure, and it doesn't work, do the following:
Delete the C:\WINDOWS\BricoPacks folder
Also delete the following files (in C:\WINDOWS) if you find them
- BricoPackFolderDelete.cmd
- BricoPackLock.lock
- BricopackUninst.cmd
- BricoPackUninst.txt
Now the installation should work.

Ikmalhidayat Ikmalhidayat Windows 7 User Profil: Big Penguin | Oh, hai Neil. I already do that but same thing happen when I try to reinstall. Then when I went C:\WINDOWS, BricoPackLock.lock reappear! I retry to delete it and reinstall but the same thing happen again. I went C:\WINDOWS and BricoPackLock.lock reappear again! The same thing happen like virus.

Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | It's probably not a virus but what you say can happen because the bricopack is deleted instead of being uninstalled
I'm currently using 7 now so will try to get something when I get hold of an XP machine

A double negative there..
Anyway, try to do what Neil asked you to do in safe-mode. ---------------
