Hi, I'm new in this forum and I've recently installed in my computer the Windows XP Professional x64. In my old PC I had installed Vista Inspirat Ultimate 2, but then I noticed that I can't install it on Windows XP Professional x64. Does anyone know a solution for this? Or do I have to wait until they make a newer version of that Bricopack?

Hi Manet2000!

You can`t install a Bricopack on 64bit XP

But you can change most icons without a bricopack.

I recommend you this icon pack - http://www.legace.110mb.com/ccount/download.php?id=22
These are Vista Icons, if you don't know how to use them follow this link -> http://www.legace.110mb.com/ccount/download.php?id=22

Good luck

Thank you for your help.   Is there any way to change not only the icons, but the start menu, taskbar, windows, clock, etc. as well?

Yes you can install Vista Inspirat BricoPack on  a x64 bit system without a patch, I have it on my gaming rig, but I did have to trick my system to accept it.

here is come screen captures I got for it.

*sigh*
How stupid can you get? Using product A (that is supposed to be used on system X) on system Y?
Windows x86 files are located in windows\system32 while x86_64 systems have it in windows\wow64.
And the files are different. And the Bricopack can't edit them. So, either you are lying, or you are stupid.

I guess I am stupid then because it works fine for me and I have had no issues since install, I am sorry if this made you mad and then felt the need to bash me or call me stupid, but oh well I did make a tutorial I was gonna post here on how I did it, BUT FUCK YOU! I come offering help and the how I did it and you call me stupid, for that I will rape your precious BricoPacks and re code them as a open source. later

Actually, it didn't work. And your screenshot proves it.

The computer icon in this (http://i43.tinypic.com/e159fr.jpg) has an old Windows flag, whilst a proper installation of Vista Inspirat would've changed that into a more Vistaish flag.

*sigh* Open source has lost its meaning... How the hell do you think you will ever be smart enough to code a program to run ResHack to change system bitmaps? And do you know what open source means? And try not to use Wikipedia (or Google) when answering that question.. :)

Oh, and the reason I am doing this is because you are telling people that Vista Inspirat works on x86_64 systems. What if someone messes their computer after they read your message?
