Well. I had Bricopacks (Vista Inspirat 2), but my iPod couldn't sync . I checked in the FAQs of iTunes and it said it might be a "third party program" that's causing it. So I decided to uninstall Vista Inspirat 2, but the icons stayed.. (My computer, my documents, my images, every single icon)

Is there anyway to get them back to the appearance of Windows XP?

Try to refresh your icon cache:

You need to clear the Icon Cache. To do so, download and install TweakUI. The open the Start Menu -> All Programs -> Powertoys for Windows XP -> TweakUI. At the the bottom of the TweakUI window, you have the Repair option. Select Repair icons and press Repair Now (then reboot computer)..
:ar: Download TweakUI

Hi xMoo, there are two options:

1.) Refresh the icon cache

Download TweakUI (from Microsoft, right side), install it, at the bottom you have the option "REPAIR", chose repair icons (reboot) ...

2.) You did not install/uninstall the Bricopack in safemode (press F8 during bootprocess)

Install SP3 should overwrite all systemfiles, or a repair-install of XP (no format c: needed, XP only overwrite systemfiles, in this case you must update windows too).

:meuh:

Edit: I´m toooooooo late  :boulay:

Um. Well. Instead of doing "sync all music" I did "Sync selected playlists"

Since playlists are shortcuts to the songs, when you put them in playlists and sync playlists only, they go in "all songs" automaticly.

Ugh, now I have another problem ;x

I saw a thread on it the other day, maybe someone can link me to it.

Whenever I click let's say "Browse" to upload / send anything, it takes like two minutes before it opens.

:x

You mean it`s a browser-problem? What browser do you use (for Firefox try Fasterfox)

For optimizing your internet-connection/dsl use TCP-Optimizer

Do you mean that it takes two minutes before the Open dialog appears?

Well. No. I open the thing to browse but when i click "open" it takes about to minutes then it starts sending/uploading.

It's not because of the browser, it happens on MSN too

Hi xMoo,

are you sure that your system is not infected?

Do you use Adaware-Scanner (Lavasofts Ad-Aware or Spybot Search&Destroy) and a Firewall/Virusscanner?

I doubt this is caused by the Bricopack.
I think your system is infected or just filled with junk.

Do what Breakfastclub said in the previous post, and also download and run CCleaner.
