Click Start - All Programs - Bricopack - UPDATE (maybe reboot)
| |
janx Profil: New Penguin | i have uninstalled SP3 now and removed folders C:\Windows\Bricopack and any bricopack file related under C:\Windows. is that sufficient enough to say that bricopack is cleaned out from my system and is safe to reinstall vista inspirat bricopack2?
poiru Profil: Moderator | Yes, but I reccomend doing a system restore point prior to the Bricopack install
janx Profil: New Penguin | ok thanks, will give this another whirl and see what happens. hope it works fine cuz i love this pack.

You mean uninstalled the Bricopack ?! It`s not the same like remove this folder ? Anyway, it you delete the folder you can`t uninstall it now - let`s hope SP3 will overwrite all the files

janx Profil: New Penguin | i mean i have uninstalled bricopack. then after a reboot, i went and removed those folders and files.

Its okay | |
wozu Profil: New Penguin | I have installed SP3 too, but before the Briopack (Vista Inspirat 2). It seems that even if the last supported WinXP was SP2, SP3 is 99,99% compatible because it uses as much older libraries (sp2) as new (sp3). Besides, in the installation of BrioPack you have written that if you want to install new service pack uninstall BrioPack, install service pack and after that install the BrioPack again. And one question for the blessed ones . The installation of Service Packs is clear. But how about the updates? Because I had all the latest updates and after I installed the BrioPack Vista Inspirat 2, it just popped out saying that there are 7 new updates includding some update of DirectDraw. This doesn't look nice. //Edit: I've checked their release date. All have 10th June which was yesterday. But the question remains. Can I install the updates?
