hi, i have recently installed bricopack vista inspirat v 2 and i think it causes windows to crash from time to time. A blue screen appears, don't even have the time to read what it says, and the computer restarts? anyone knows something in order that helps in preventing this problem??

The blue screen is called "The Blue Screen of Death" And that screen comes up when you usually have a virus or something like that, but i don't think that the bricopack is causing you that problem.Please,Explain your situation more clearly, What OS are you currently running, when did you install the Bricopack, Which bricopack did you install? Which pack of windows xp pro do you have ? " SP2 or SP3 ? " Did the blue screen of death come after you installed the bricopack or the problem existed before the installation too ? Try to answer these with details so that we can help you.

well i know about the blue screen of death...encountered it several times on my previous computer..bleehhh...hehe..as an antivirus i have bullguard..excellent...no viruses ecc....the current OS is XP pro not sure about the service pack though, my os should be up-to-date so i assume its sp3..the blue screen appeared after i have installed bricopack, not immeadtley though and i have never encountered this problem on this computer before...

i installed bricopack today, the installed the version 2.1.0 bricopack

Okay, first of all, you will have to uninstall the bricopack you just installed. Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Search for the bricopack you just installed. Uninstall it. Restart your computer, Run a Full computer scan to see if you have any kind of viruses.If not, Restart your computer and boot in safe mode by pressing F8.Install the Bricopack in safe mode. Restart your computer again. And let us know if you have further problems.. I'm afraid you would have to Format your HDD if the problem continues.

I to have installed bricopack vista inspirat v 2 & i get or got the blue screen of death.Ive read what it say`s & it states there is a reg file missing which is spool 32. This spool 32 is a printer driver (CONFUSING I KNOW ) what as a printer driver got to do with the bricopack ?. Any way don`t do anything drastic like reformatting your hard drive just do what i did & put your windows xp disc in the drive & boot from dos menu. Type in chkdsk / r this will do a windows repair & it find`s the error ie the missing file & mine finger`s crossed has`ent done it since.  GOOD LUCK !

Stumbled on this problem page last night and ive only had the vista inspirat v2 on my system for about 3 week`s and i noticed one or two other`s had the same prob as i did after the install. A friend of mine asked me to take note of what the blue screen was stating and after i explained he told me to try the window`s repair idea.

again thank you for the warm welcome 'Breakfastclub' anything that anyone as had happen to their system that i to have encountered and sorted out i will be glad to help with. I dont beleave in reformatting or uninstalling ect i say have a bash at it first and save as much of your important data as possible before taking drastic measures. More often than not theres always an easy solution to a problem that you wouldent have thaught about trying untill its to late. quite a few times ive blanked drives reinstalled everything then suddenly thaught "why dident i try that in the first place". Its always the way.
