hi ^^
first of all sorry for my not perfect english, I'm italian

now... after several days that the SP3 I took the opportunity to use StyleXP, today I decided to install the BricoPack of Vista Inspirat 2.
It works perfectly, but I CAN'T TURN OFF OR REBOOT MY PC!!!
I tried uninstalling the BricoPack, but the problem persists, and when I try to unplug it and turn on my computer, I get a window of error that is repeated for 6 or 7 times then it ask me the password, but not with the usual LogOn ... what's the problem? how to solve? Help me!

Hi CrAzY ShAdOw, your english is okay  :happy2:

First, you don`t need "StyleXP" for Bricopacks and you doN´t need it to change VS (uxtheme-patcher) did the same ...

Did you install the bricopack in safemode (press F8 during bootprocess) ?

Did you completly uninstall the Bricopack now ?

hi ^^
ok for StyleXP... I didn't press F8 during bootprocess, I just run the installer.

I uninstalled it with the uninstaller from the start menu, and then I think it is all removed. (even if I saved the sound system, pointers, and I downloaded the UberIcon, because they are beautiful )

Next time try to install it in safemode (F8)  :oui:

And you can install only all tools/programs/skins/cursour/sound without the systemfiles (check the installer)

Do a repair-install of XP, the Win-XP-CD will overwrite/replace all systemfiles (without format c: and your programs will still work).

After the Repair-install do all windows-update

You will have to enter the bios and set the boot device priority (with pictures).

When you first turn the power on, on the first screen, right after the keyboard lights all blink, Try pressing the delete key or F1. Once in the bios you will have to find the boot device order, should be able to use the + key to make the change, then press F10 or follow the on-screen instructions to save the setting and exit. some motherboards have a boot options hot key, for example may have to press F11 to select boot device.

Boot Order can be:

1. Harddisc/Windows
2. CD/DVD
2. Floppy

You need to have the CD before the HD

1. CD/DVD
2. Harddisc/Windows
3. Floppy

Always be carefull in the BIOS !
If you change settings you don`t understand you can reset all settings as default. When you do nothing else what we say everything will be fine ...
