I installed the Ultimate 2 in safemode and now my comp is screwed up.

I can log in but I cannot access every control panel item. I don't even see Add/Remove Programs or User Accounts. When I click Category view I see them but they do nothing.

Also when I right click desktop and click properties nothing pops up. I cant access My Computer Properties either......

What's up?

Rundll32.exe Was corrupted when installing, this controls all those little things tat make Windows run. If it isnt fixed soon, you could be in some serious problems.

Here's how to fix it:

Download and activate.
I made a small patcher for you , use it to fix the .exe, if they ask if to replace the file click no, that would mean that this is not the problem.

The patch was only tested in my computer, you could try clicking yes. it more than likely will work.

It could be that you installed it in safe mode.
Try going back into safe mode, uninstalling and in normal start mode, install it the bricopack.
If all else fails, use a System restore point.  :err:  All recent changes will be lost...

GUIDE TO RESTORING:
1. Log on to Windows as Administrator.
2. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts.
3. On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Restore my computer to an earlier time (if it is not already selected), and then click Next.
4. On the Select a Restore Point page, click the most recent system checkpoint in the On this list, click a restore point list, and then click Next. A System Restore message may appear that lists configuration changes that System Restore will make. Click OK.
5. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and then restarts the computer.
6. Log on to the computer as Administrator. The System Restore Restoration Complete page appears.
7. Click OK.

I have E-Trust antivirus...probably the best on the market so I doubt it's a virus.

I'm going to try again with a different method hopefully it'll work. Just need to wait for a DL to finish first though

If nothing else work, uninstall the bricopack in safemode and do a repair-install of XP, this will only overwrite your systemfiles from the XP-CD, no format c: need, all programs still work ...

Good luck
