Hello...im a big fan of Vista inspirat but problems happened after i install SP3....

first my  bars, startup menu are like old windows 95 bars....when i go to properties i see Vista and Vista inspirat but when i try to change it, it says error cant load images....

second....when i start up my pc....the welcome menu shows up ???? instead of Welcome....

someone plz help me!! i really enjoy with Vista inspirat  

 
ok ummm....when u install Sp3...they replace the Uxtheme.dll with a another version...so maybe thats why u are having problems....i have a patched uxtheme.dll for sp2 then i installed the sp3 which caused my computer to revert back to a windows xp theme......so i just googled....patched uxtheme.dll for sp3 then i got a patched uxtheme.dll....i used a replacer application(google that)..and now i can use all themes

uninstall and reinstall vista inspirat, happed to me too...:biggrin:
other problems can be caused by the default xp theme to become corrupted....
Get the theme from someone's computer at C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes
just copy+paste it into  your C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes folder

I suggest that you uninstall VI2 and reinstall it.

I agree:

1.) uninstall  VI2 (in safemode, press F8 during bootprocess)

2.) reboot - install SP3

3.) reboot - install VI2 (in safemode)

well... i tried unintall and reinstall it, the theme still cant load and its stuck with window 95 theme...cant even load the original xp theme...and i tried with safe mode too

and my pc is already SP3...soo yea

Why the hell would you reboot the whole comp over again?

Just remove the shellpack and install it again...

1) This topic is solved. No need for useless comments.
2) It is reccomened to reboot, so that the installation process will be as smooth as possible. (And it seemed to work, so why the need for more suggestions?)
