Breakfastclub Profil: Penguin Pro | I think you can turn off error-reports ?! Quote :
Stop Windows from asking if you want to send a report to Microsoft whenever a program crashes Whenever a program crashes, whether it’s a Microsoft application, a component of Windows, or a third-party application, a window appears, prompting you to send a "report" to Microsoft. If you actually believe that Microsoft will use the data you send them to fix bugs in Windows, I have some beach-front property in Nevada to sell you... Here's how to disable this feature, either completely or selectively: * Open System in the Control Panel (or right-click on the My Computer icon and select Properties. * Choose the Advanced tab, and click Error Reporting. * You can disable error reporting entirely here, or enable it selectively for certain programs. Click Ok.

R a b i D Profil: New Penguin | it's like a undefined error ! sometime windows OS provide some errors. This occurs most commonly when shell pack is not compatible :-?
x3lumin8x Profil: Penguin | How come you are using Bricopacks and Windowblinds at the same time? That's probably why you are getting Explorer error. Uninstall both and install Bricopack. Does it error out?

i agree. What are you doing man. You shouldn't use Windowblinds and Bricopack together....
God Of Mana Profil: Penguin | Brico does nothing. You shouldn't have any problem with having both at the same time. I hope you realize that the bircopack is some really cool (no insult intended, dlb) programs bundled altogether and a script in res hack and a shell. This should have no effect on Windows explorer. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the bricopack. This should work.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with that.... I installed Brickopack Vista Inspirat after installing SP3 (Dutch version). Brickopack worked fine for me on WinXp SP2 in combination with the Aero Black theme and never harmed my system. In combination with SP3, some tasks on the rigt side of the Windows Explorer screen are unaccessible (the part in blue in stead of black). This only happens when an Aero theme is active. Transbar-setting is off. Is this really a bug? It would be very nice if someone can help me.

Trying another visual style is, from my point of view, a rather radical solution. (my car doesn't ride....buy another car ....) You wrote that this problem happened under SP2 before. I searched the forum and found some topics, but I never did found an answer which declared the cause. Can't it be solved? Please let me know... If that's the case I will consider trying another visual style. I appreciate your advise, so thanx again from sunshiny Holland

MyndeX Profil: Penguin | OMG! Windoblinds xD LOL! I didn't use that shit, i use Visual Styles. Besides the problem was that i had a corrupted folder or file (don't remember). You made me laugh
huelfi Profil: New Penguin | Hi, I've the same problem with the explorer. I've uninstalled Brico Vista Inspirat 2 and reinstalled, but problem is there anymore. I have used the patcher.exe from the Bricopack FAQ, but nothing happend. Is there a solution for this problem? Thanks huelfi PS: I'm using XP with SP3 EDIT: I've solved the problem. Didn't know, that i have to copy the "Shellstyle.dll" manually from "C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Inspirat2 Patched\Shell\NormalColor" to "C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Inspirat2\Shell\NormalColor".
