cradłe Cradle-desktop@ubuntu:~$ whatis windows Profil: Penguin Pro | If you want to delete/format Ubuntu 8.04 from your computer, you will have to insert your Windows xp Cd, Boot from it ( by pressing F8 and choosing your Cd rom drive ) Then when you see the Blue page, You will have to Press on Enter, it says " If you want to install Windows XP , press Enter " just ignore that and press enter. Then i'm not sure what button you should press but it says ' to install a new fresh Windows on your computer , press " " Go Ahead and press it.When you are on the page where it shows what partitions you have, just use the Arrows on your keyboard and highlight the partition that you have installed Ubuntu on.Then when you read the options you have on the top of the page, it says " If you want to delete this partition, press C " Press C > Press Enter And Then Press L " I think so .. " Read the instructions anyway and you'd solve it. If You want to have a spare space on windows like a second drive " D " you can just Format the Partition without deleting it.Because if you delete it , it will remain unpartitioned. And for your Logonui.exe thing..Just use the same Windows XP cd, boot from the cd, choose the choice that says " Repair an installed Windows XP Partition " Just click on Enter, it will reinstall Windows ** This Does NOT delete the data that you have on your hard drive, It Only reinstalls Windows XP. ** Hope i helped you. Good Luck

Dark_RAIDEN_ Profil: Big Penguin | hey ive finally got the cd from a kind friend and did a repair-install. it didn't work though!!!! WHY!?!?!?
poiru Profil: Moderator | This is a problem, I've never heard of, so the only way to fix it is to do a complete reinstall.. You've got some problem that is probably in the registry..
Dark_RAIDEN_ Profil: Big Penguin | oh no! the registry, its too complicated unless someone tells me where to add a new value or something.

Just install the OS again if the problem bugs you so much -,- No use of crying about the problem here if you know we don't have the answer.
