Hi,

Just installed the Crystal Clear 1.0.

If I check in Config of the RocketDock I can update this.
Is this usefull and how does it exactly work ? Do I first have to uninstall something ?

Thanks for helping

You can update it if you want. It might fix some bugs and so

If RocetDock works for you now, I don't suggest you update

I tried to update to 1.3.5 and kept getting errors. Basically it said that the installation files were corrupted. Any thoughts on this?

Also, my internet globe has disappeared form my dock. How do I get it back?

Thanks

Thanks, but Bricopack installs the RocketDock somewhere else than if you use RocketDock as a standalone version, is this correct ?

The Bricopacks install it to C -> Bricopacks -> one of the 2 folders [cant remeber] -> RocketDock

I am not sure, but somehow I think this might cause a problem....

If you want to install an update, is there anything you should remove before installing ? I mean with
the BrioPack Crystal Clear it's installed in c:\windows\bricopacks\rocketdock

If you want to install the update, it wants to install in c:\program files\rocketdock etc.
But I cannot find the uninstall for the "bricopack" rocketdock version.

Thats why my question is, what steps need to be taken to get a correct update ?

Well when it wants to install it to the Program Files directory, change it to Bricopacks/RocketDock

Can you overwrite the old files then ? Or should it first be uninstalled ? If yes, how because there is
no uninstall option for RocketDock only in the Bricopack

Well, I suggest you do the following:

Disable rocket dock from Vista Inspirat config.
Copy the RocketDock folder in the Bricopacks folder to a safe location [back up].
Install RocketDock and overwrite to files in the Bricopacks folder.

If you some time want to delete the Bricopack, then do the follwing.
Uninstall RocketDock [from control panel]
Delete the RD folder in /Bricopacks/
Copy the backedup folder back to /Bricopacks/
Uninstall the Bricopack..
