I'm having some trouble correctly installing Inspirat2 on Win2k3.
I searched the forum and read the FAQ so far but couldn't find a specific answer.
I installed it straight from the pack-vista-inspirat-2-1.0.exe package and everything worked fine except the Aero appearance. I've installed it on several XP computers, with no problem of course.
On the Win2k3 machine, I've patched the uxtheme.dll and restored it, and installed / uninstalled the pack-vista-inspirat with and without the uxtheme.dll patched. Everytime, the other parts (The theme icons, desktop, and transparency) work but the taskbar and windows still do not have the "Aero Appearance" applied to it.
I have the Themes service enabled which is the first step I took anyway.
I saw some people state that they were able to get the styles to be applied under win2003 but all that was mentioned was "I patched a .dll file" and nothing more.
Can anyone help me apply this correctly to a Windows Server 2003 OS?
