How do i make it so that is says wicrosoft vista on boot up instead of XP?

If you have Windows XP, then go here . From the menu choose Vista Bootscreen, download it, and follow the instruction.

If you have Windows Vista, please let me know and I could try help with that.

Is there any other way because it does say it could mess up my computer?

follow info to change the logon screen, But be aware i am not sure if this will work with Bricopacks i know it works with VTP8.1 so use at your own risk.

But it is not the logon screen, its the BOOT up picture.

Is that what you wanted?

By changing the Boot screens skin, you are playing around with the loader of your system. It is the component that loads Windows so that you can use it. If the theme changing fails, and the loader gets edited, it might crash which results to Windows not booting.

Then you have to recover you Windows (you don't want it ) !

TuneUp-Utilities can change the bootscreen too (with every picture you want). "Styler" is part of the TU-Utilities and customize the system ...

Yeah, the thune up thing does work but what happens after 30 days because it is a trial?
