When i logon to the windows, the "Welcome" title was changed to "????"!!!

If there is anyone can help me to repair the error?

What languages do you have ? Something special on your WinXP ?

I'm useing the Chinese_traditional Windowns XP,,, SP2 ... Beside I'm use TuneUp Utilities 2007.

But this problems i never sin before i recover the system,,, the problems is gone ather i reinstall  BricoPacks ,,,but it happens time to time,,, How can i shooting this trouble??

I've got the same problem as Alex-Pan does!
Every time i login it shows "???????" in the "Welcome" page.
I am using the Chinese_traditional Windows XP (SP2) as well but without any other special applications on the WinXP,
think the reason might be it is not supporting the traditional Chinese languages? (But by the way, the pack still cools!

Before you install the bricopack copy c:\windows\system32\logonui.exe to another place and after the Bricopack is installed replace the old logonui.exe - this should your native languages ...

That's not needed. Just replace your Bricopack logon (c: -> windows -> system32) with the origanl XP logon. The original can be found in:
C:\WINDOWS\BricoPacks\SysFiles and the name of it is "78_logonui.exe".

To replace, go to the System32 folder, and change the name of logonui.exe to logonuiold.exe.
Then, go to the SysFiles folder, copy the 78_logonui.exe, and paste it into the system32 folder. Remember to change the name of 78_logonui.exe to logonui.exe

but i wonder would it also change my "Vista look" welcome screen back to the "original XP" logon?
coz i would love to keep the cool "Vista Look"  

Unfortunatly it would. I don't know where to get Vistaish logons that work with your language.
You could try the "Vista Logon" from my site. It might work..

hey! this problem is a bit like mine except for that when i shutdown, logoff etc... i don't get a "9", i get nothing, it diplays nothing when i logoff, shutdown etc. on my inspirat 2 logonui.exe

I have the "????" weclome sceen problems too.
I don't know how to solve this but i know how it happen
Once I open the "Fonts" folder,the weclome sceen change to "????"

The "????" is a font problem, when I visit chinese-websites I see most of the works like "????????"

Thats a copy of your logonui.exe before the installation of the bricopack - when you replace the file in  your c:\windows\system32\ then this should be fixed ...

I would rather never touch \WINDOWS\Fonts folder after install BricoPacks than change vista logon back to xp logon.
