Did you try to remove it by Control-Center/Software/'Add/Remove Programs' ?

If it domn`t work search the forum for "remove.exe and the name of your bricopack"

the files itself were missing. but the link was still there. i found the folder "C:\WINDOWS\Packs\SysFiles" which i think contained the old files that the pack made a backup.

You mean this ? - "application_executable_name - Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\System32\Hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

I had this problem too, here's how to resolve it :
1. Install all important updates from the following Microsoft Web site:
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate (http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate)
2. Try to run the program that did not start again. If the program starts and if you do not receive the error message in the "Symptoms of the problem" section, you are finished. If the error continues, follow steps 3 through 5.
3. Visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
4. Click Download, and then click Run. If the Download button is not available, you must first click Validate to validate your copy of Windows.
5. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install update 935448.

Also, just uninstall BricoPack Vista Inspirat. It will not harm your computer

Hope it works :loveit:

I fortified and optimize windows because security, speed and privacy suck. I protect run registry and after I tryed to install I get an error saying "wait until uninstall finished or reboot". I notice later that owner permisions on  my programs file folder on another partition were screwed (ghost user from another install).  Maybe that caused it. You guys should make a cleaner program because I have tried the boot from xp cd repair button then  "BATCH bricopackuninst.txt" in console method and nothing happens on reboot. Same old same old uninstall problem.

I recommend one thing always back up ypur system before using this piece of software, it could kill your system or at least leave you very frustrated when you unable to install other theme packs, including the bricopacks.
Only one option left. FORMAT. Oh you guys , can you PLEASE document what is installed where and to please help get rid of that annoying message saying that Bricopacks wants you to wait for it to uninstall. What piece of crap got left on my system to create this message. I used ccleaner and raked the registry and checked system  files. What the hell does the installer look for in determing if this annoying message is shown or not.

You guys are linux fans I guess for the use of penguins, so document and debug your work in public like all linux programmers do.

Oh and I just tried to unpack the exe to look for clues. No luck so far. I will keep you posted  . Can you release some help document for this kind of problem . It would be much apreciated.

PEOPLE! this software is not to be taken lightly like any other app. Please do yourself a favor and back up your system partition and later install the bricopack on the same partition as windows just to be sure (in case you run into some default ownership permissions *uckup like I did. It would have saved me 9 hours of tweaking, optimizing and installing [hit all over again thanks to this stuff.

tuxboxpisi, you just made 5 posts in a row - Please don't do this, it is against the rules (To my knowledge) and it can get you your posting rights banned. Just press the edit button on your original post, and add in any further comments

And I don't honestly think you need to use that many swear words in your posts, there seems to be at least one in every post I've yet seen you make.

Linux fans doesn't mean linux programmers.

Then don't use it. Many people use these and find no problems, simply because you do find problems is no reason to go mad against free software. And why "free" in inverted commas? It's free, not "free".

I thought you were still missing system files that the repair reinstall didn't fix? And you didn't have notepad and other stuff but you "didn{t" bother checking?
