hi sir ive been reading alot in this forums lately and decided to register so i can post my problem regarding leopardxp.

-the windows logon screen is kinda missed up. you cant see the place where you can type your password and the text is also messed..

-i also followed an instruction here in this forums that might have led to this. (i installed leopardxp in safe mode). ill post the link and the post that ive followed that may have led to my problem.

Before you install the bricopack copy c:\windows\system32\logonui.exe to another place and after the Bricopack is installed replace the old logonui.exe - this should your native languages ...

That's not needed. Just replace your Bricopack logon (c: -> windows -> system32) with the origanl XP logon. The original can be found in:
C:\WINDOWS\BricoPacks\SysFiles and the name of it is "78_logonui.exe".

To replace, go to the System32 folder, and change the name of logonui.exe to logonuiold.exe.
Then, go to the SysFiles folder, copy the 78_logonui.exe, and paste it into the system32 folder. Remember to change the name of 78_logonui.exe to logonui.exe

-i did the above thing and then my pc wont shut down and it gave me a pop up message of "value creation failed at line 40" at logon.

- and then what i did was i tried to "restore" the old logonui.exe file by renaming the logonuiold.exe back to logonui.exe and then i deleted the logonui.exe which was formerly 78_logonui.exe

-note: when i installed logonloader, i clicked "reset to default logon" button which made the "value creation failed at line 40 pop-up" gone. and back to my messed up leopardxp logon.

pls do help me.. ive reinstalled and uninstalled a couple of times in safe mode but to no avail. i also tried to use logonxp or logon loader but it still failed. replies will be much appreciated..

I think what you should do is:
1) Uninstall LeopardXP
2) Do a repair install of Windows XP
