Hello,
I recently installed the Leopard OS BricoPack on the 28th, and I uninstalled it a few hours later because of an error that occurred with my interface.
The popup window for error messages, certain save dialogues, and certain setup programs are sized completely funky. For instance... if anyone has ever seen the "Program has encountered an error and must close" error in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, the window is proportionately sized, text fits the buttons, etc. After installing the Bricopack the message would be darn near full screen (1680x1050) with the buttons enlarged also, just text stayed same point. The Save As dialogue in photoshop is above full screen in res and cannot be restored or resized. The weird part here is that the quick launch side bar and input / folder windows are default size and top left justified, but the window is still full screen with the save and cancel button located 3/4 off the screen on the bottom right. The install file for Office 2000 stays the normal size... just the text is about a 3 pt and I can't read it, even with the windows magnifier.
I have done two system restores... one a day before the bricopack and the one the bricopack made before installing. After restoring it says that the restore point cannot be restored because nothing had changed. I even ran system file checker and nothing changed either...
Can someone please help me with this. It is becoming a hassle. This computer was just built a week ago and I really don't want to start over installing all my graphic utilities and filters.
