I'm new...

Okay, so I've been considering installing Vista Inspirat 2, but I'm confused...WinRAR finished downloading it and left it there it there in it's window. I cancelled it because I became insecure...
(My computer is Windows XP SP2)

-What do I do after it's done installing?
-If I consider changing it back to the regular Windows XP interface, do I just uninstall it or delete it?
-Would there be any "damages" or bugs that could affect my computer?

I read some of the things that would happen if I tried to uninstall it. I don't think I have a system restore disk....I've never really tried doing that before.
I also read in a previous thread about installing/uninstalling in safe mode. How do you do that?
Sorry if I sound kinda worried, but I get paranoid when it comes to objectives like these...

Any kind of tip or advice is greatly appreciated.

noit is completely virus free and if you want to go back to your previouse xp interface right mouse click ont the desktop then click properties the go to the appearance tap then click on windowndows xp style under windows and buttons drop down menu :)
to install in safe mode push f8 at the start of installation
and after it has finished installing you reboot!!

Wait...that's all? We're still talking about Vista Inspirat 2, right? I thought that if I wanted to go back to the Windows XP style I had to uninstall the Brico Pack...

Thanks for the help, though

If you want to completely remove the bricopack - go into safe mode (press F8 while booting) and then uninstall from add/remove programs in the control panel.

Thank you for the help. I'm about to install Vista inspirat 2, but I can't decide what mode of installation I should choose...I'm not technically fond of the Dock, like in MAC OSX, but I want to have all the other settings..is there any way to change any of the settings later, so it can have the settings I want?

Thanks in advance for the help in answering my questions. :happy2:

If you don't like things installed with VI2 I think you can just uninstall the things you don't want, like the dock, afterwards - though I'm unsure. A Legace or Truth would be nice.

Thank you. And is it recommended that I install VI2 in safe mode? Why is it necessary? Sorry about that question, but I just need to see if there are any precautions I have to make before installing...

One more thing...in custom settings on the installation window, there's a check box next to System Files, along with the other components I can decide on installing. What would happen if I uncheck the box? Sorry, I'm just curious.

There aren't a lot of things from my computer I'm familiar with, now that I see myself trying to do this. :ouch:
