Hi,

I am a newbie to the concept of Bricopacks and using this type of customisation to an XP install so would be grateful for some info on a few points.

1. If I install the Vista Inspirat 2 program onto my XP (SP3) installation can I switch back to the original XP themes without uninstalling the Vista Inspirat 2 program, ie, is the customisation selectable and switchable ?

2. There seem to be quite a few topics about uninstalling the Vista Inspirat 2 program, are there any known bugs or issues or general comments about the program that is causing users to wish to uninstall ?

3. Does the Vista Inspirat 2 program have any degradation on XP performance ?

I am thinking of installing it on a PC with 2.2ghz core 2 CPU with 3gb RAM.

Thx & Rgds

You can switch between the visual-style (taskbar, start-menu, window borders, etc.) but the icons will stay Vista-style.

If you install the Bricopack in safemode, you shouldn't have a problem (Google for instructions on how to get into safemode).

If you disable RocketDock, Y'z Shadow, UberIcon and TransBar (which provide some extra Vista-like effects), you should not suffer from decreased performance.. :)
