| majorXP Profil: New Penguin | Hello...
Let me start by saying thank you for all your hard work... I finally got tired of xp and needed a change a poof there it was.... However two issues:::
1. It keeps crashing my computer when i use my Avante Browser.. Is there a way to not make it try and skin that browser??
2. When i tried to install it on another computer it keep getting stuck about half way thru the installation.... this is a sata drive....
the weird thing was on the same computer with the same copy of xp ( both are fresh installs) it installed fine ..... this is a ide drive...
any way so i installed it in safe mode with admin but realized it didn't show up when i went back to regular user...
so i uninstalled it... from the admin admin in safe mode... but when i went back to regular user parts were still there.....
so then i went to safe mode again but then installed it under regular user in safe mode so now it looks right howerer my question is...???
if I need to completely remove it ... for xp updates how do i do it???
and is it ok after all that???
WOOPS ANOTHER QUESTION???? it says that it has icolorFolder and i see the folder but.. iit doesn't show up anywere ..... is this an error??
thanks for the great work... and takin time to read this.... Message edited by majorXP on 11-13-2008 at 03:20:35 AM ---------------

poiru Profil: Moderator | Icolorfolder can be used by right-clicking a folder
Breakfastclub Profil: Penguin Pro | Hi majorXP
1. I`m not sure if you can skin Avante Browser, check the browser-homepage. For browser-problems, maybe uninstall the browser and install it again (backup your bookmarks before).
2.
Install and uninstall bricopacks in safemode (press F8 during bootprocess)
majorXP Profil: New Penguin | about the ifolders... they don't show up in options ?? you need to find the folder to use ok.

Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | As Legace said, when you right click a folder It'll have a pop-up menu saying icolor Folder. You can use it to change the color of that particular folder iColor Folder has the option to change the color of the folders so there is only one option for it (that is changing the color ) If you're talking about new folder styles' you'll have to manually put the skin file ( a dll file as I recall) in the installation location Note* iColor Folder can only use one skin type at a time Question 1 Your browser may be conflicting with the Bricopack's internet explorer files. Try re-installing the browser after you install the pack Question 2 See here Message edited by Neil on 11-05-2008 at 09:26:28 AM

quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | hi neil - im using crystalxp pack inspirat 2 - where can i get a copy of inspirat 2 bootscreen and signon screen ? quaz1957@aol.com
ps: ive used tuneupstyle since 2006 for styles/signons..but, my current boot/signon isn't the vista inspirat version. if u can assist, much appreciated. ty
why doesn't crystalpack vista inspirat2 have the appropriate boot/signon screens included? the screensaver for vista inspirat is great!
if u have a copy of the boot/signon screens then, i can incorporate them in my pc. Message edited by quaz1957 on 11-09-2008 at 10:49:00 PM

Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | Hi quaz1957 and Welcome to CrystalXp Bricopack doesn't come with a boot screen So you've to use an additional software lilke BootSkin to change your Windows XP boot screen if that you're asking from me from the first place Did you mean the logon screen by 'signon screen' ? Bricopack always comes with a logon screen If you can't see your Inspirat2 Logon ut might be, 1 You haven't selected it during the bricopack installation (you've to re0install the pack if you've missed it ) 2 Your machine is using the Windows classic logon (you can change this by going to Control Panel>Users>Change the way users logon/logoff) Message edited by Neil on 11-10-2008 at 10:09:13 AM

quaz1957 Profil: New Penguin | Neil - thanks for your considerate reply and for comprehending my funamental question. when i installed bricopack, it gives you 4 options before you click-next. i chose the 3rd option, which includes rocketdock. can you tell me which option in brico that has bootscreen included and where can i find the appropriate logonscreen? ...thanks mate!
currently, im using vista-aurora boot/logon screens..which is pretty but, not really authentic to vista-inspirat 2.
Neil Chances are not had but gained....... Profil: Penguin Pro | 1 Bricopack Vista Inspirat 2 doesn't have a Boot Screen as previously said Message edited by Neil on 11-12-2008 at 07:11:08 AM

rockwell20 Profil: New Penguin | Bootskin doesn't work with Inspirat 2...I tried it several times...though it shows the bootskin i really wanted, but after the bootscreen appears, it shows a blue screen saying that "blah blah blah, to prevent damage to your system"...
what i did after that error message, was to turn off my computer and i choose "start windows from where it worked successfully" something like that and deactivated my chosen bootskin...and it worked again....
i tried it several times, painful uninstall and install operations...
