Adverts have been here since 3 years ! But on Firefox, they were sometimes hidden.

Oh and I see they're hidden when I logged in? Is that maybe the explanation why I hadn't seen them before?

I think you might be using an adblock program with your browser or your browser is blocking the ads as default

I uploaded an icon pack 'Crysigns' about two weeks ago but it is not validated yet , I can still see the 'waiting for validation' message , does anybody know what's the problem?

Then it would be validated negative. I guess they haven't looked or decided on it yet.

If it was the case then there would have been a message saying "only for iGloo" with the icons but it's not so I think validatorz have missed to validate them

Take a French class or use one of the many online translation sites. By the way, the French section has got Moderators as well.  

I actually did take French in school, and though I have to focus really hard ... I do get a lot of it. I was just joking there.

I have an idea. It would be cool to add a comments box to all files in the Gallery. I know there's a rating system, but it would be nice if we could read user reviews too.

I think the current system of 'Comments' works great. You can leave a topic address and then people are able to leave replies there.

You can't for tux, mascots and a few more I think.
 
And I mean the comments should be visible right there, like they are below news articles.

Comments under the item actually sounds nice. But what if someone would enter for example the Icon Box as topic?

The Tux's Exhibition Link redirects to the French tux exposition thread. I'm talking about SEPARATE comments for each tux, for each mascot.
 
We should at least have the option of including a thread. That way, if it's a single icon, you can direct it to a single post or page in the icon box. However, if the author has created an entire thread for his tux (like my Soccer tux ), then he/she/me should be able to direct it to that thread.
