Another problem: The rules are either in a somewhat hard to notice spot at the top of the screen, or in the second to last subforum, and it took me a while to find them.

Perhaps that's true. I sometimes link to them when introducing a new member. But where would you place then? They're already above every forum category.

I have one question.
Can you change my display name?

I have 1000+ posts. I think that is enough for changing display name. As far as I remember,
Didas said that himself. Gruzz told me today that you are not able to do, since
you do not change display names of members any more. The question is, why?

I wonder why some members have privileges. No offense to any of them, buuuuut... Asher has changed display
name from ASHAR to Asher. Disko has changed his name a few billion times.

Now why can't you simply change my display name?

I hope I'll get a reasonable explanation.

No, it's because the rule about the changing of name wasn't clear, the administators wasn't agree. Now, the rule is clear : you must have more than 1000 posts to change your name (by asking an admin and justifying your choice) or before having 1000 posts if it's a spelling mistake or a mistake when you registered.

Name and display name will not be change now. We are making some modification about forum, and after what, will perhaps agree to your request, if it's justification are enough acceptable.
