Hello everyone! Here's Dr Batux, on lineat the Central Bankiz Hospital.
A new Tux has born right now. Drawn by Everaldo himself, he's revealed on CrystalXP as an exclusiveness.
So, here is TinyTux... 4,52 Cm (128pixels) & 16 Kilos(bites 
)!

TinyTux will soon be accompanied with a new Crystal iconset (really different from the one we already can see for the moment). But why "TinyTux" instead of Tux G3? Well, simply because he's small, nice and because he's got only few common points with his predecessors.
TinyTux has the advantage of being easily modelisable in 3D. Moreover, Moks & Didas are already writing a whole tutorial to learn how to draw him with Maya.
But for the time being, place in our traditional Tutorial Photoshop. Clear and illustrated, this one will be appropriated as well to beginners as to confirmed users. It is k_millio which will guide you step by step in the realization of this new Tux.
K_millio also translated the first three parts of this tutorial into English . The continuation and the end have been translated by Xéna which sacrificed many hours (that she should have dedicated to her project of data processing or to dlb…
. And to finish, the correctors should not be forgotten: Didas, K-Net and Eliaden.
The big Monk (Overlord) prepares us a tutorial on « how to dress up our new friend », because naked he is likely to fall sick of cold on the ice-barrier. But nothing prevents you from already trying this by yourself even if the approach will not be the same as for Tux G1 and G2.
Once again, Thanks to Everaldo for this great anniversary gift, which will enrichour community ! Last note : TinyTux is declined in many versions (beak opened/closed – sitting/standing up – front view/side view)

Make TinyTux with Photoshop Tutorial

Bonjour à tous. Ici Dr Batux, en Duplex depuis le Central Bankiz Hospital.
Un tout nouveau Tux vient de naître à l'instant même. Dessiné par Everaldo en personne, il vous est dévoilé sur CrystalXP en exclusivité.
Voici donc TinyTux... 4,52 Cm (128pixels) pour 16 Kilos (octets ) !

TinyTux sera prochainement accompagné d'un nouveau set d'icônes Crystal (très différent de ce qu'on a vu jusqu'à présent). Mais pourquoi TinyTux et pas Tux G3? Et bien tout simplement parce qu'il est petit, mimi, et qu'il a très peu de points commun avec ses prédécesseurs.
TinyTux a l'avantage d'être facilement modélisable en 3D. D'ailleurs Moks et Didas préparent un tutorial complet dédié à sa création sous Maya.
Mais pour l'heure, place à notre traditionnel Tutoriel Photoshop. Clair et illustré, celui-ci conviendra tant bien aux débutants qu'aux utilisateurs confirmés. C'est k_millio qui vous guidera pas à pas dans la réalisation de ce nouveau Tux.
k_millio a également traduit en anglais les trois premières parties de ce tutoriel. La suite et la fin a été traduite par Xéna qui a sacrifié de nombreuses heures (qu'elle aurait dû dédier à son projet d'informatique ou à dlb...). Et pour terminer il ne faut pas oublier les correcteurs: Didas, K-net et Eliaden.
Le grand sage (Overlord) nous prépare quant à lui de quoi vêtir notre nouvel ami, car dénudé il est susceptible de prendre un coup de froid sur la banquise. Mais rien ne vous empêche de vous lancer dès maintenant dans l'habillage de ce TinyTux même si l'approche ne sera pas la même que pour les Tux G1 et G2.
Encore merci à Everaldo pour ce magnifique cadeau d'anniversaire qui va sans aucun doute enrichir notre communauté ! Notez que TinyTux est décliné en plusieurs versions (bec ouvert / fermé - assis / debout - face / profil)
