As we all know, not everyone has got a bright opinion on the newest operating system of Windows. Security has been one of the big priorities Microsoft has been working on when they made Vista. But two security experts (Mark Dowd and Alexander Sotirov) have said that they have found a big exploit in the operating system. It is unclear wether earlier operating systems of Microsoft are effected by this as well.

You can read the rest of the news here.

The link just goes back to the homepage...

Can you fix the link? Or is something weird with my browser?

I haven't been able to find an article on NeoWin about it either...

 I don't think this is a Vista thing at all really. And just going with the 'Vista bashing' group opinion isn't a bright thing to do in my opinion. I use both Vista, XP and Macintosh and I think that they've all got their bright sides. :oui:

Well no you're right, the actual thing is a general microsoft fault, it's not vista specifically. And I'm not in the vista bashing group, I agree it's got a lot of bright sides, and on the whole I think it's a good OS, I mostly just "bash" the bits that drive me mad  So I guess in that sense I'm like a lot of people who simply criticise and don't bother thinking about the good side :frown:

But you're right, it's not a bright thing, and I take the comment on vista back.

its not bashing when its the truth - anything made or stolen by mickysoft is bad. Or jsut gets that way.
I mean really they had several chances to work with amiga on redoing the windows thing and failed working with amiga at every corner. All they wanted to do was  steall thier Ideas . aka vista couldnt come out in its courrent form till Commodore went under as the vista os look is more like amiga os then anything else.  Fortuneatly Intel owns Amiga so it so worries there.

most improtantly  windows or windos as its dos based and 8bit and cant multitask and cant do real-time - so right there are the easy reasons to attack it.
