Hmmm ... I have four conjectures:

1. It's a new bricopack for XP, Vista, and Seven.

2. It's a new program that allows you to make or customize your own .msstyles for XP, Vista, and Seven.

3. You're adding some page or code on the site itself to allow customization of the computer.

4. This video is supposed to mislead you into thinking it has something to do with Customisation when it's actually about the music in the background. CrystalXP will be transformed into the next iTunes!

Only one note; I feel disadvantaged since I can't read any of the French on that video, being English.

EDIT: Well, using the might of Google Translate, it is at the least a way of organising visual styles and uploading them, but that would not take a year, so I believe it is a way of creating Visual Styles and then uploading them to crystalxp...

Most probably, its a pack.

That was quite interesting. The video makes it seem like a combo of a new Bricopack (which I know one is in the works) as well as some kind of a program.

The only thing that hinders me is the NeOcean.com logo, which almost makes me think it is a website redesign.

In any matter, I like the site for what it is now, and sincerely hope that it lasts for another 5 years, and then even more!

If it is a pack hopefully they will make it compatible with Vista SP2 iif its for Vista.

the latest pack was "vista inspirat", based on vista, crystal design, and transparency.

Half of the world gone crazy after transparency effects a short time ago.what we may call vista effect or so ?

we have 3D effects, drop shadows and glassified most of our desktops, sidebars,
docks, gadgets.(all glass.)

so, what's their next inspiration ?

oh.. and how about "make a tux" online tool ?  people can combine penguins, or layer outfits on them ?

Yeah, I already thought of that, but that wouldn't require a year's work, just a few days of programming -- as you should well know, truth!

How long does it take to create a bricopack? A year? What if it's an installer for bricopacks, that works on all Windows OS (XP/Vista/7) so you can install/uninstall different ones easily and quickly? Though I'm not sure how long that would take...
 
A music hub? I wonder how long that would take... hm...
 
I'm trying to fit time scales to each of our musings, see which seem reasonable for a year... I wonder how many people are working on this? Their knowledge? And amount of time they put into it?
