i heard about ubuntu. it looks pretty clean. my friend tried it yet. he said it's faster. ---------------

The boot, especially, is much faster. For me, it takes about 15-16 seconds from the Ubuntu loading screen to a completely loaded desktop.. (I've done some tweaking, though)
