Google launched a new version of their their famous software of management, retouching and sharing of digital photos : Picasa 3.6.  
 
For the moment it's available only in English for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. This version brings some improvements for name tags and the import process. Google also implemented a few additional features that make it easier to share, organize, and customize your photos and they have added an option to preserve original JPG compression quality when uploading to Picasa Web Albums.
