Differences in logo:
1. The fox is less cartoonish. It's more like a Photoshop painting now.
2. The shine on the globe is brighter.
3. The shine on the globe is now using a different Blending Mode, something like Color Dogde or something so that the white is actually Cyan instead of white.
4. The colour of the continents is different, and it is now a gradient.
5. The colour and gradient of the ocean is different.
6. The tail's shape and style is different. It now looks as if it is wrapping the globe.
7. The tail is longer.
8. The continent itself is different.
9. The fox's drop shadow is now lighter on the left but darker on the right.
10. The shine on the globe also has a different shape now.
11. There is an inner shadow on the top of the globe.
12. The fox's flames are also slightly different

Overall, I think it looks much better than the original logo. Go Firefox!

Been using 3.5 for a while, it is amazing. I love the new logo as well. It just makes it look all the better.

Well, it's faster, it doesn't crash, but other than that it's only caught up with my other browsers - I don't see major changes apart from speed and it not crashing - which don't get me wrong, is great.
 
Oh, and extremely annoyed that the installer always sets it as my default browser - pretty belligerent.

I did notice the differences. Not going to name them here, but to be short on this - I don't like the changes. The 16 by 16 pixel icon looks way to over saturated. And even the full size icons don't look that good to me. In my opinion, they should have done a little bit less of these fancy effects. A bit in between this new icon and the current icon.
