Will ubuntu suport my wi-fi card??

Im thinking about switching to ubuntu but.... I dont know if it will support my wifi card or a graphics card its an intel 4500hd  
and my computer  is a hp dv4t with 4 gigs ram and a intel core 2 duo t5800 2.0 ghz windows vista home premium 64 bit
 
 
if ubuntu does not support my graphics card or wifi card can someone tell me a good linux that will thats free?

I installed ubuntu (8.10) on several PCs (desktops and laptops) and i didin't have a problem with my hardware.. :great:

i've just seen that your post is over one month old... Have you tried to install ubuntu already?

Sorry for the double post but I was looking around the ubuntu site and saw ubuntu studio edition is that any good?

Ubuntu studio just has a bundle or (almost) complete multimedia creation/editing free software and general desktop is optimized for multimedia experience.
 
but you can always convert your linux into anything you want.

ooo sounds fun! :lol:  
but performance wise what one would be better?  
 
p.s. i installed ubuntu inside windows and my wifi did not work :out:  
 
p.s.s. its ubuntu 8.04 LTS
