In the configure your desktop menu, in the behavior section check the box "allow programs in the desktop window"

Then simply run this scrypt. " /usr/lib/xscreensaver/glmatrix -root -density 4 -speed 8 -delay 21094 -no-fog -no-waves -no-rotate ".

It shouldn,t use more than 8% pc usage and a few more mbs of ram, ut pretty cool nun the less.
Add it shell scrypt and place it in your kde startup folder if you wanting it starting with kde. enjoy.
One note you must have xscreensaver, with glmatrix installed and of course kde. Enjoy.
