i want to install ubuntu via wubi now when i install it i get a message "the download has been interrupted with a error" and then the window closes does anyone know why this is happening?

PROTIP: ubuntu works a LOT better if you install it regularly instead of with wubi
wubi works fine for testing, but if you're converting to ubuntu then just partiton+install

 

also, try downloading from a different mirror, i'd upload here if i could compress it to below 400kb

It might be easier to simply download the install from the official ubuntu site, save it in the same folder as Wubi, and then run wubi. That way wubi will use the already downloaded install file, and wont need to download, and hopefully you wont get any problems :smile:

It must be the download problem man... I installed Ubuntu with wubi, and it worked fine... Try to get it from www.ubuntu.com

It's also harder to remove :wink: Which I had to do shortly after installing :tongue:

Just uninstall like ordinary programs... Nothing special... I did that when I installed Ubuntu with WUBI :boulay:
