Whenever I try to Add an application, it says:

The list of applications is not availabe

Click on 'Reload' to load it. To reload the list you need a working internet connection.

I reload, and reload, and reload... it never goes. Also, when I download something via Synaptic Package Manager, it doesn't appear in Add/remove. Why?
