Ok, so i recently discovered that you can run ubuntu on the xbox 360 while surfing on youtube.

So my question is... Does anyone know how to do this? It would be awesome if there was a easy way to do it,

Do you think i can just boot off the live cd? lol, that would be awesome, but im scared to try it out since it probably could crash my xbox

Gentoo and FreeBSD can be installed on a Xbox 360 but Ubuntu... I don't know...

wow, that is pretty difficult, ill go read some more and see if im willing to do it.

@sosoe: its true i loved ubuntu, but now it doesnt boot! i type in my username and pword, and since i have beryl in my start-up, it trys to open up it just freezes with a orange screen. Im pretty sure its because if beryl, there is no way of me stopping it from starting up, or is there?
The last thing i remember was changing some setting, but i forgot what it was, i think it poked around with the graphics card.

Edit: Nevermind, just pushed a whole bunch of buttons on startup and it worked, lol

if you mess up your x server you can still copy original xorg.conf  from live cd while  running live cd as root and replace one on your hd . this will ovewrite everything and restore your default desktop . i did this while messing with my pclos / beryl and it saved my setup so i didnt have to reinstall .

if you think about it, compare the price of a cpu or laptop with the same hardware graphix and processors, not to mention i believe you can still play your 360 games, access the net, your network.....
