Sorry, got no idea of what 'md6 and sha1' are.  What are using them in for, what instance?

when i downloaded your freespie u recomended it came with a iso and and a md5 file to check if it was downloaded all the way or if it was maybe corrupted and another program came witha sha1sum file i lost any help helps

maybe i am slow but ive got the freespire burned and it went to blue screen with freespire logo then it said decompreesing kernel then it just stayed they waited like 15 minutes how long should it take? to get that far i used nero to take iso file and use image recorder to save to hd then burnt that file to cd using image burn the farthest ive got to date any help cant hurt?

The way I burn my are by using Nero, and nothing else.  Open Nero StartSmart, then go to Extras and then click 'Burn Image to Disk'.  Locate your ISO and the rest it will do it self.  Put the CD and reboot.

 

That's worked for me several times :great:

i do that and even on lowest speed can u send me a file or a link to get one ive tried so many times

finaly got a linux to work upgraded my ram to about 3 quarters a gig for free dont ask how a magician never reveiels his source lol.got fedora to work going to try ubuntu next
