Try googling for a driver for this device or ask on the Ubuntu forums... good luck.

I searched for a topic on Ubuntu Forums and I find some 3, but, the 3 have no solution :frown:, and for the drivers, there's no one.

First to the people that like slick designs, and using that as the factor for using a distro aka suse- wrong path . This is the precise reason why windows and linux and mac and the x86 archtiecture in general is still here. You guys choose archaiac old obselete hardware and software. Suse and othere are in bed with mickysoft so if u love pos software then choose mickysoft. Kubuntu and ubuntu nothing differnt besides one being kde and gnome. They are too child like with many unforgivness stuff. Good for begining linux users though. Fedora is the best period. Although right now Fedora 7 has some major bugs to deal with as its the first in this new outline- still its cool. I am waiting for 8.

Most imortantly there is an Amiga OS for  crappy x86 - its far better then linux- This is the example of the Linux for the Itanium - TRue 256bit- as its based on the orginal Amiga OS. Thats my choice os for x86 -AROS . More on that below.

I use the Amiga why- TRUE 32bit sound up to true 256bit sound with true digital with sound card . x86 - 2bit  - we have stock 256channels which is 8bit sound true 8bit. Graphics- true 32bit per each channel of far superior RGBE . x86- outdated vga and true 8bit. One reason the classic AMiga is still used  in Hollywood and NASA -among other places. Movies are shown via RGBE -hummm now u know why vga just sucks plain and simple.

The itanium was "invented in 1992" the year that Intel bought the TRUE chipsets from Amiga- u dont have chipsets.  The os that year was and is the Amiga OS for the itanium.
2000 - architecture and topology. The HOMBRE-the new AMIGA. The ps3 came out of it - People are now starting to see the PS3 as the new Amiga and rigthfully so as it is - they advertise that on each and every sony around the world- demoing. Plus its on the sony website.
Liux is far better then windos still try AROS.

Mint is one of the best, specialy trough the repositories of Ubuntu and with all the codecs onboard ! KDE or Gnome you have the choice, its latest kernel has supoort for the newest hardware, PCLinuxOS is also very good but does not run on new hardware ( sata II )
Pardus on his side has the best fonts and also all the codecs onboard (KDE)

GNOME rocks. It is the best.
It lacks some features, but I am sure that they will be added in the time to come.

Take the example of Kubuntu and Ubuntu... The black interface of Kubuntu looks lot cool than the orange interface of Ubuntu... besides, there are many sites providing KDE themes, while Gnome has less support  :happy2:

Ever heard of GNOME Look or GNOME Art. There are also many different engines for GNOME (e.g. Murrine :ar: link)..

Version? Do you mean that Ubuntu is not a good distro or that 8.10 is a bad release?
