friends, plz help me. i have installed red hat linux 9 as my os. but it can't detect my modem. i am a broadband net user and my connection is through usb port , as i don't have lan. i have a quidway modem. i have tried through      start menu-->system tools ---> internet connection wizard. but i cant do it. please tell me how to fix this problem.

do you have any other options besides USB for the modem. Linux doesnt seem to work very well with those, if posible use ethernet.
Also, who is your ISP, and what service do they provide
(ie. Verizon PPPoE DSL, Comcast Cable, or Cox Cable)
