hi i'm new to this photoshop thing and i have a question i have downloaded ps elements 7.0 and the tutorials r made for psd  
 
so what should i download(buy)

Some of these tutorials are made for Elements, but most are only possible with Photoshop. You can buy Photoshop on the website of Adobe, there's also a trail version there. And if you haven't got the money, you can always try the Gimp or another open source editor.

Basically all versions from CS onwards should work well, possibly even PS 6.0.

hey guys, since tux is the LINUX mascot, would it not be appropriate to post the templates in a format that GIMP can read??? just a thought! also, it's kinda weird that the site is called crystalXP when you are making linux icons. anyways... i suppose i shall attempt to get something going in GIMP since i am possibly one of the few linux users on this site...
 
note: for those interested, i am running linux mint 7 on an HP G60-101CA.

nevermind, i found the gimp section.

 There are actually a lot of people using Linux, I myself use Wubi and GIMP a fair bit. Remember the english section is a lot quieter than, say, the french side. Also the XP in crystalXP (and in Windows XP) stands for experience
