Duplicate the "Left eye reflet" layer and rename it "Right eye reflection". Move this newly created layer over the "Right eye" layer, then, select all and flip horizontal. The eyes and their reflections should become symetrical.

How to get this right???   Iam not getting this at all!! K Milo... can you explain this a bit more ???

Please....

Do you not know how to flip an image horizontal? You should then hit Ctrl + T, right click the upcomming box and flip horizontal.

I don't have Photoshop, so I was wondering if the original flat Tux picture is available anywhere. I'm assuming it's bigger than what we see in the tutorial screencaps.

Nice result headbuster, and glad you where able to sort out your problem on your own! Welcome to CrystalXP. Unfortunately there is no tutorial regarding clothes of the TinyTux. :frown: You can try to have a look at other Tiny Tuxes with clothes and learn from that.

Hello all...
I have got some problems with this step:

3. Ctrl+click on the "Foot" layer, then move the selection by 2 pixels upwards. After that, invert the aforesaid selection and delete the layers "Color 1" and "Color 2".

Ok my problem is, i dont know what she means by invert... if it is some option like edit -> etc. she could say how to do it or she could say a shortcut for this...

I Hope can someone help me, i am new to this stuff...
I started in photoshop by making userbars as you can see in my sig. (maybe ill post a tutorial soon ,and i hope u can see them,i am new to uploading too ) ...

OK, i believe someone reply me soon...

EDIT:I forget to say i discovered something: it is in edit -> Inverse... but thats still nothing because when i delete the layers, its like on beggining so thats nothing special

Welcome to CrystalXP! To inverse the selection, go to the menu 'Select' and click on 'Inverse'. The shortcut for this is Ctrl + I on Windows. :oui: There's already a tutorial on userbars on CrystalXP you can find it in this tutorial section. Hope that you can complete this tutorial now.

Hmm... so again... i selected foot layer ,then ctrl+click on foot layer... then i moved selection 2 pixels upwards (spacebar+2times up) then i inversed (its ctrl+shift+i... in CS3... when i hit ctrl+i i got really interesting results :ouch: )... then i deleted and: nothing happens still nothing... when i delete the foot is like normal foot without gradients...

EDIT: I Got it... i looked back on the headbuster post... He had the same problem... now i know. Ill post completed tux soon!

Perhaps your layer order is wrong. Try dragging the layer you just created under another layer. Welcome to CrystalXP.

Move your cursor over the layer. Click it with your left mouse button and hold this mouse button down. Now drag the layer beneath the other layer. :oui: I hope you'll succeed.
