I understand all of this, the drawing, but what I'm interested in is how do you make the background transparent. I'm using the Adobe CS2 & Corel suit X3??? buy the way I already try'd multiple saving and exporting files like png.tiff... it could be the color palettes that I'm using, is there ultimate color for background transparency??? Pleazzzz

quite strange. you have photoshop and corel suite and you cant make transparent background.

ok here is the solution. when you make a new document photoshop gives you three option in background contents,

1. background color
2. white
3. transparent

choose 3 and enjoy transparency.  

thats wright, when I'm in progress, but when i wont to save the file it merges the objekt with background like jpg

and yes be sure to save the file in PNG format to get it as transparent because if you save it as JPEG it will automatically get a white background.  

look at my avatar its in png format but the background is still not transparent although I made it transparent while I was working on it. When I saved it IN PNG format suddenly it's white.

i am not very sure of what are you having for your settings.

Your avatar is transparent. I don't see a white background. I think it has something to do with your browser. What browser are you using? And is the background of your image in photoshop grey-and-white checkerboard?

Your avatar looks transparent to me. I think you're using an old version of Internet Explorer, although I'm not sure if this error still exists in IE7. If you are using IE7 and the images still don't show transparent, try another browser like Mozilla Firefox.

thats cause i've copied his(Nagaya's) edition of my avatar.

I've done it!  the problem was in the Corel cause he can't save the transparincy in the png or tif files so I had to export it in the photo shop file and edit it in the same. my avatar is the resolt.

you can go to my controls of your account and you can find to edit your signature,

you can upload your image to imageshack. and provide the link in the signature place.
